Where the Wild things are.

Ok i know we are a 'grown up' site but i still have to say that this book was the best thing of my childhood. It was what keept me going each day, what made me want to swing on the swings the best i could. No not really but this book is beyond words. So even though we are all 'adults' i think you should get a copy if you can find one. I picked one up from a second hand book shop and i love it. All 24 pages will change your life. Ok, also not not really. But the pictures are pretty cool.

Claire Mossong

An update on Claire Mossong's latest exhibition at La Commune. It's still up so if your passing through Hamilton (which understandably you most probably try to avoid) stop in at La Commune on Victoria St, grab a coffee, sit back and stare at the wonders that are the talent of Miss Mossong.

Banksy

Went to an exhibition in London called 'Banksy vs Warhol' who are two artists i really respect. Warhol has inspired so much art in the music and fashion culture.
Thought I'd drop a pic of a Banksy original that he did sometime in the night before the exhibition opened right outside the front. It's the marilyn munroe painting of warhol.

Disasters

If you are struggling to know what to wear to your next outting, look no further, I always recommend taking a few tips from the celebs. I randomly stumbled across these two photos, what a life saver.

White Birds and Lemons

White Birds and Lemons have just released there debut mini album "Who says your free?". It's got a Bluesy-Psychedelic-Folk-Rock-Experimental sound. Its been my best album buy all week and never leaves my stereo (yes that's right i still own a stereo). Go get it, its to good to miss out on.

Dehoff

This here is my amzing friend Dr. S.K Stuart. She is definitly my claim to fame. Not only is she the best dressed person in Auckland, but she rocks it out with the sisters in her band's the "Debutants" and "Political Period pain". I snapped her wearing this beautifully hand crafted leather Sabrina Dehoff neclace(the black mask). Dehoff is a berlin jewellery designer with exquisite hand made designs. Her pieces are really hard to track down; but have a wander around her site www.sabrinadehoff.com. I particually liked the 'little helpers' collection.

p.s
If you think DR.Stuart is a hot babe, email fix up to get fixed up. bad joke.
