STEADY ROLLIN' Asylum Criterium Race - Fixed Gear only.

For all you fixie heads out there Steady Rollin' are organising New Zealands first fixed gear race.

SUNDAY MAY 4th from 12pm to 2pm at Unitec off Carrington Road, through Point Chevalier lights, A to the K.

It's a casual event where they're hoping a bunch of fixie riders will get together for the first race of its kind and see if the course actually works or not. It's 3 laps of a 3.5km (roughly) course, so about a 10km sprint.

After the first one they're hoping to hold it more regularly, I think like a Critical Mass event just for fixies. So calling all closet fixed riders, come on out for ride and skid.

Mad props to the Steady Rollin' crew for getting this going, this is going to be sick.I just hope I have my bike up and running by then.

Rules -

1. Bike must be a fixie.
2. Helmets are optional, but ride at your own risk
3. No brakes.
