Kanye News

Crazy about his Mum, this was a little news from the first show of his european tour, still pretty close to his Mum's death.

"Exactly a week after the sudden passing of his mother, Kanye West launched his European tour in Paris yesterday (November 17) and reportedly broke down during his performance.

According to People, Kanye performed at the Le Zenieth for a full hour on Saturday before breaking down while attempting to introduce “Hey Mama” , a song he dedicated to his mother on his 2005 album Late Registration.

“He said the word, 'Mother,' and just couldn't go any further,” said Le Parisien journalist Meddy Magloire. “A back-up singer, the DJ and a guitar player came over to console him. It looked like he might collapse. He just couldn't continue. He just stood there in a spotlight, crying, while the band continued playing.”

West tried to restart the song but was unable to finish. He left the stage and returned 10-15 minutes later and concluded the show with his hit single “Stronger”."
